“ Visited Famous Chicken last evening with a good friend for some food and appetizers. We started with phenomenal butter chicken poutine, Donair, Chicken Burger and French Fries. It was a pleasant experience and I was incredibly satisfied with my Saturday night at Famous Chicken. Very efficient staff and the best service in town by far! ”

“ My family and I ate at Famous Chicken after enjoying an afternoon at the Edmonton Corn Maze. We are from Whitecourt and wanted to grab supper before heading home. We typically stopped by Jacks Diner in Spruce Grove and had noticed Famous Chicken next door. This time, we decided to give Famous Chicken a try. There is street parking and some spots available in the back. The restaurant inside is pretty neat. They even have a fish tank, which my kids loved. It's a bright, clean space with lots to see. We chose to eat outside on the front patio. Staff cleaned it for us before we got our food. The tables outside are spacious and allowed for our group of 6 to have our individual plates and a large pizza box in the middle with room to spare. Now to the food .. My husband ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza. He and my kids raved about it. Key points are that the crust was amazing and clearly homemade, the sauces were great, the vegetables on it were fresh and the chicken was tender and juicy. My youngest daughter ordered a cheeseburger, which she shared with her siblings. They all said the burger patty and bun tasted homemade. They were VERY impressed. Also the sauce on it was 10/10. My oldest ordered the Popcorn Chicken Poutine and gave it two thumbs up. She said the gravy was really, really good and loved the spice. The popcorn chicken was fluffy and not oily. Her only complaint, if you can call it that, is that she wanted more chicken. Haha. Note to self: next time order a side of popcorn chicken for sharing purposes. My son ordered the Chicken Burger. He said the chicken was juicy and his words were "it was not a sad burger." He said the flavours all mixed together nicely and it made him happy. I ordered the Dal Makhani with a side of Garlic Naan. BLOWN AWAY!! I LOVE Indian cuisine and this is my go-to dish. THEY FREAKIN' NAILED IT! The spices were balanced, the texture was perfect for my rice to soak into, and the lentils were perfectly cooked. It was by far the best Dal Makhani I've ever had. EVER! Considering the restaurant is called Famous Chicken, finding such exceptional Indian food was completely unexpected. If you like Indian food, please go check them out! The chef put love into that dish. Also, if you aren't big on spice just let them know. They can tone it down for you. We also had some fries to share (which my family proceeded to dip into my Dal Makhani and rave about it). The fries were very good. They had a great crunchy bite with a sprinkle of flavour I can't quite put my finger on. So good. The last thing we tried was the dairy-free, gluten-free soft serve. The staff surprised us with it after our meal which was so kind of them! It reminded us of gelato, but smoother. It was so refreshing. Our favourites were Mango and Cherry. My daughter said it tasted like the world's best popsicle, on a spoon. Haha. I love how kids explain things. To say we will be back is an understatement. This is our new "spot" in Spruce Grove when we are looking for grub. We will still visit Jacks Diner next door from time to time, because we love them too, but DO NOT dismiss Famous Chicken!! They are well worth the stop and if you haven't stopped yet, you are 100% missing out! I'm still drooling just thinking about the naan. ”

“ Strolled by with my boyfriend, the guy who took our order was very friendly and helpful. We had two cheeseburgers that were huge. The patty was homemade and had all the toppings including an onion ring. The fries and gravy were yummy, the fries were really crispy and seasoned perfectly. The prices are way cheaper than Jacks Drive In ”

“ We stopped in here on Apr 05/25 and ordered two beef donairs. They were super tasty and a bit messy but it was worth it. The owner gave a few free samples of ice cream and their tasty fries which I thought was a great way to bring new customers back. Well, we will definately be back.
